• Select a text, PopTool will automatically pop up.
• Click on the translation tool to translate the selected text.
• Default translation uses Google or Microsoft
• Can be changed to use LLM translation in the settings

🤖 AI summary and text explanation

Select a text, click on the text explanation or summary tool, This feature requires LLM configuration.

🔍 How do I use the search feature?

• Select a piece of text and click the Search tool button
• You can change your default search engine in settings

🛠️ How do I open the settings panel?

Press the Alt + P shortcut key to open the PopTool settings panel.

To change the settings, you need to click the save button to make them effective. Some features require restarting poptool

🧠 How to configure LLM using OpenAI?

Buyout version, You need to prepare your own OpenAI API KEY

• Open Poptool settings and switch to the LLM tab
• Choose your LLM provider. For example "OpenAI"
• Fill in API KEY and model name

How to use other providers?

• You can choose "Custom" provider
• Then fill in OpenAI compatible URL in the Base URL.

🛠️ Add custom tools

The current poptool supports a maximum of 10 tools.

• Icon: Tool icon
• Name: Tool name, Cannot be duplicated with other tool names
• Prompt: User prompt word template. The {selection} variable can be used to embed the currently selected text
• Key: Global shortcut keys, Can only use numbers 1-9
